The new track in Santa Barbara called Elings Raceway did see in the race event on the very first weekend of this year. Drivers ended practicing on Saturday and racing on Sunday.

I arrived at the track at 8am. Ran a couple of tanks before the races started. Used the time to test a couple different tire treads. Races start, 3 rounds and a 30 minute final. First round I end up with a clean run just got slowed down a little by traffic. Second round I ran another good race and swapped the lead back and forth with Jeremy Kortz. By the third round the track had slowed and started to dry out. Ended qualifying in 1st with Jeremy Kortz 2nd and Paul Coleman 3rd.

Main event got started and I pulled away from Jeremy Kortz by a couple seconds. Made a few mistakes around the half way point and it allowed him to pass me for first place. I was never able to make up the time and finished in 2nd place on the same lap. Car was consistent all day and no mechanical issue's.
